What's all this now?
Located just outside Manning Park is the historic property at Similkameen Falls.
Similkameen Falls Campground seeks to provide a camping experience that is safe, fun and memorable.
It is owned and operated by me, Aaron! While I’m no stranger to camping, I have no experience whatsoever in the hospitality industry. So this will be fun and memorable for me as well!
I also had no experience with building a website before this. Never stop learning!
Are pets allowed?
Yes! I love animals, and so does my dog!
You are responsible for your animals; attacking people, animals, or property is obviously not ok.
Yes! We follow the law and use common sense fire safety. Propane works wherever, and there are a couple designated wood firepits. *FREE WOOD*
Can I pan for gold?
Yes, *IF* you are camping here! I own the placer and mineral rights for roughly 2.5km of the Similkameen river, including the campgrounds. I even have a few gold pans you can borrow.
Why are there so few FAQ’s?
Because I’m just getting started, and people haven’t had a chance to ask questions frequently!
“Somebody told me it was frightening how much topsoil we are losing every year, but I told that story around the campfire and nobody got scared.” — Jack Handey
